These are just one of those cool gadgets, that aren't really necessary, but are trick and cool just the same. Made by Govnair in England, and distributed through WDP, NPS and Pro-Team, these gauges are available in both 0-1200 psi, and 0-4000 psi ranges.
As you can see, the Micro is less than half the diameter of the usual gauge we
find on HP and nitrogen systems. In actuality, it's even slightly smaller in diameter
than a quarter!
The tiny face and gradients are admittedly a bit hard to read,
and if you are looking to set your pressure at exactly, say, 425 psi, there
is a little guesswork involved. However, it is easy enough to see if your tank is
half full, or near-empty, or that your output is near the pressure you'd like.
They
attach just like a normal gauge, with a 1/8-NPT nipple on the back. The body of the
gauge itself has wrench flats for installation. The face seems a bit thicker plastic
than usual gauges, and may be a bit more resistant to cracking if hit by a paintball.
Those of you who like to have a gauge in an odd location, such as on the
body of your 'Mag, or on the vertical regulator, will appreciate this unit's compact
size.
