No cracks, no damage, and surprisingly little wear for being over fifty years old.
No, that's not a typo. Wilton used to guarantee their vises for five years. So on
older units, if you extend the movable jaw out and look at the key on the underside
of the barrel, you'll find a date. Mine says "Guarantee Expires 12-31-63".
Meaning the vise was made sometime in 1958.
