Weld, let cool, grind, weld some more. Get really, really annoyed
at the quality of the welds, since
I'm laying on my side, welding
semi-overhead, and dodging spatter falling into my ear.
The jumper-cable clamps are because the ground cable on the welder
is only about 8' long,
while the spoolgun cable is about 25'. I suppose
I could have clampled the cable to the front
bumper or something, but I
prefer to have the ground as close to the action as I can.
