... And Paint!

The color is Rust-Oleum's "Dark Machine Grey" spray paint over their spray primer.
As luck would have it, the color is damn near a match for the color of the grinder itself.

The tool tray was lined with a remnant of low-nap automotive carpet which was glued down.

The entire setup is very stable, and makes the machine very easy to use. In fact, I liked
the design so much, I eventually made two more for the regular bench grinders.
