... Is actually adjustable.
While three feet can adapt to even rough floors and surfaces, four adds a bit more stability.
Since my floors are somewhat rough and uneven, I made the fourth foot adjustable to compensate.
The grinder doesn't get moved around much- if at all- so it's a matter of set it and forget it.
The foot pad itself is mounted to a strip of 14-ga steel, and the triangular cornerpiece is welded
lower (er, higher, it's upside down here) in the base to make room for a 3/8-16 setscrew.
