To start with, I moved the "floating" part of the holder to the extreme side
of it's travel- in other words,
I offset it as much as I could to one side. The slight angle of the spindle
will tilt the cutter over to the side,
to the built-in offset will help compensate for that, and keep some of the
holder's range of adjustment.
Then, it was a simple matter of setting up the carriage stop so I didn't
crash the boring bar into the
bottom of the hole, and then bore it out to 1.125". Straight on, no angle
yet. That comes later.
