Then it was a simple matter of running the tap in, using the tailstock live center
to keep the tap concentric with the hole. This brings us back to the first
mistake- the part moved a bit in the jaws, since the jaws had such
a small grip versus the force of the tap cutting.
Not a huge problem, but geez, I know better than this
