The female pipe thread fitting held a 1/8"-pipe-to-45-degree hydraulic style fitting, to which was attached a 6" long
section of high-pressure hose with a swivel fitting on one end. Where it went after that, I have no idea.
I do know that somewhere on the intake manifold was an aquarium-style T-handle valve, that had a foot or so of clear
vinyl tubing attached. Maybe the guy was trying some kind of poor mans' water-vapor injection. Who knows?
The upshot of all this is that the valve cover was partially squashed in, and had this ragged hole in it.
