As I was working on an Olds 350, I noted that someone had... hammered? Drilled?
Shot? ...this hole in one of
the valve covers, and run in this actually kind of interesting threaded fitting. It's a hollow female pipe-thread fitting,
with an almost wood-screw coarse male thread and a fiber washer. What it was originally intended for I have no idea.
What the guy had it hooked to, I also have no idea.
