Now, this stinger/gun has something I've never seen before. The main liner goes all the way up to
about the trigger or so, and then this "mini liner" piece runs through the gooseneck and up to the
tip and gas collar. I'm not sure why they do it that way, though I suspect it lets you replace the
end that gets all the wear and spatter without the cost of a whole new liner. Anyway, part of the
original problem appeared to be in the interface between the two sections. I wondered if there was
any reason I couldn't just run the new liner all the way up to the tip, and do away with that junction.
