It's a mild press fit, but rather than hammer it into place, I put a long section of allthread
through the spindle, added a section of aluminum pipe to clear the spindle shaft, and used
several nuts and washers to hold it all together. Then, simply tightening the nuts on the
threaded rod drew the upper bearing assembly into place.
