And finally, the reg piston itself slides out as one piece: The pin to the left reaches through the body of the reg to
push on the steel ball- technically the secondary piston- and the center of the primary houses what is almost certainly
an overpressure relief, to prevent a reg seal leak from overpressuring your marker and damaging it.
All in all it's dirt simple. I'm not sure I'd say 'elegantly' designed, but it is indeed well built and appears durable.
I'm not sure I'd personally have made it with a single mounting screw, but then again, I've never heard of a
single instance of that same (albeit slightly larger) single screw failing on an Angel Air.
