The reg is black-anodized aluminum, with two ports for tank pressure (one for a gauge, the other for a fill nipple)
and one output port. My example showed up with an old Smart Parts 6K "mini" gauge-
it was "mini" compared to the old Ashcroft gauges, anyway.
