Then I made a pair of these. Kind of tricky to turn, but doable. The OD is almost exactly that of the shotgun bore at
the muzzle, and the ID is almost exactly that of the insert barrels.
The offset is precisely the difference between the two.
The groove is merely clearance for the pinch screw, and the notches simply removing portions of the
sleeve that were paper thin, and thus prone to damage.
