The new box was then attached with another pair of screws, to the side of the tooltray
that the lathes' previous owner had machined and installed to the headstock cover.
That put it fairly close to hand, but set back enough that it would be difficult to accidentally
brush or hit a button. Its placement on the machine is essentially the same location as the drum switch
on the Logan lathe. And since I'm so used to using that lathe (had it six years as of this writing)
the reflex/muscle-memory is similar between the two machines. Useful in an emergency-stop situation.
The cover of the VFD in the background, has been removed
so that the signal wires could be run and tested.
