Looking around my junkpiles for something to work as the switch box, I stumbled across
this aluminum frame from a large, gym-quality treadmill I'd dismantled for parts the previous summer.
Two minutes with a Skilsaw with a carbide-faced blade, a bit of WD-40, and some ear protection and
I had a very nice piece of 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" rectangular aluminum tubing. Yes, I could have bought
the same piece new from the supplier in town for less than $20, but why not recycle?
