Time to start piecing the base together. The base got blocked up and shimmed
so that the quarters were properly spaced- not too high, which would make the edge
appear sharper than it should, and not too low so the quarter would form a hump.
Once set, they were tacked with the little MIG.
There's very little measuring in this process, and a whole lot of "that looks about right".
