It's the drive roller out of a large, professional-gymnasium-quality treadmill
I took apart a couple of years ago. It was a little over 5" in diameter,
and just under 1/4" thick. The plaz made quick work of one end,
and then the center shaft popped out. (Itself a bar of 2" mild steel.)
Then it was a simple matter of quartering the resulting pipe to get the skirt sections.
Simple? Sure- just lay a chunk of angle-iron on the pipe,
and it's automatically aligned perfectly parallel. Mark, and cut.
