Written inside the front cover is this: the pic is the best I can do to emphasize the contrast, the
original
pencil is barely legible as it is. It notes he worked for Falwell from
July 1941 to January 1943, then for
John Deere from '46 to '48. He was
in the US Army from '43 to '45. We know that after '51,
he worked for another company called LCN Closers until his death in 1985.
Notable, here, is a two-year gap from early 1943 to late 1945, when Grandpa
served two tours of duty in Europe during World War 2.
