The Whiteboard Webcomic
]
To fill the vents, and have it appear 'scale' to the gun and the comic, I needed a heavy
mesh, and I wanted stainless steel. This came from a shop that specializes in making custom
grilles for cars and trucks, and I got a remnant for a reasonable price.
I cut and formed five pieces, four of which covered three holes each,
the last covering the bottommost two vents.
