By far the most difficult part of the project was laying out the vent holes in an even, consistent
and aesthetically acceptable way... without the aid of CAD, and being very bad at math.
It took a little trial-and-error but I came up with something that worked.
There's 14 holes in total, each 1-3/4" in diameter (nominally.)
