Now, since I'll be rapping on the end of the drawbar on occasion, to tap a tool
loose from the spindle taper, I cut a slight dome to the end. This way, it'll be a while
longer before the end "mushrooms" to any extent, and makes it difficult to use a wrench.
To do this, I simply cut- by eye- a series of shallow steps...
