Well, almost. The stock piece had been "jeweled" or 'engine turned' for whatever reason,
so I figured why not do the new piece? A dowel, a teeny bit of sandpaper and a few
seconds in a drill press produced a reasonably decent finish. I didn't really
lay out a pattern, just dabbed it by eye.
