... It was time for a test-fit: Just about perfect. I made the center bore a closer fit to the spindle,
as there's no seal, in order to help keep dust and gunk out. It's a little tight to the backgear
lever when it's engaged, but I'll take care of that in a moment.
Now, while I could have left the outside curve as-is (it doesn't mate up with anything)
I wanted it to be a little cleaner than it was, in the torched-then-rough-ground condition.
But, due to the "nose" portion, I couldn't just lathe turn it round, so that meant getting out the rotary table.
