Even the handle was interesting.
See that? There's not even a pin in there. Just a section of spring,
snipped off, compressed into the handle, and which pops out to lock it
into the knuckle. Sort of.
Now, the original plan I had for this vise involved tossing the handle
in favor of a 3-arm spider wheel anyway, but still,
this was hardly an encouraging sign.
