The movie Failure to Launch (Matthew McConaughey, 2006) features a scene at an airball field.

In order to help Paula (Sarah Jessica Parker) get over the supposed death of her dog, Tripp (Matthew McConaughey) takes her to a local
paintball field. The field features a nice layout of Sup'AirBall "XBall" inflatable bunkers, and unlike most other fields shown in the movies,
actual referees, protective netting, and even a timing tower.


The scene starts with a game starting up- again unlike most movies, the game has an actual starting horn, and players run off the break.
A few markers seen are clearly those of actual players- here we see a Toxic Matrix with a Paintball Central LPR, 16" CP 2-piece barrel and
Empire Halo loader. He's also wearing V-Force Profiler goggles.


Tripp takes Paula over to one of the equipment tables, and picks up a Diablo Mongoose II BBS LCD with a smoke Empire Reloader 2 hopper.
If you watch carefully right as he picks it up, you'll see the bottomline ASA is loose.








Paula takes the marker, amazed when Tripp tells her the balls fly at "over 200 miles an hour" (which is true)...


... And of course immediately accidentally shoots Ace (Justin Bartha) right in the bare foot. (Really? Flip-flops at a paintball field?)

He takes his mask off (!) in surprise.

Note his Spyder Electra has the "rocking" trigger.


He pulls his goggles off and yels "Where's Paula??" to trick the field players into thinking she's somewher else. And he takes his goggles off to do it!
