Converting a Grizzly G8689 Mini Mill to 3-axis CNC, Part 17:

Then on the top ways, lather, rinse, repeat. Drill the cross holes, then mill shallow oil channels.

After that, we take the part out of the vise and clamp it to the table. With a little finagling, we can mill an angled
cross-channel to connect the two oil grooves per way. This helps distribute the oil over a wider area of the way.

Flip 'er over and do it all again.

Scrub it down good and gently tap in the ball oilers into each of the bored holes.

Quick check, oil flows nicely, and everything's peachy.

Proceed to reassemble everything...

And done! That basically completes the last of the major fabrication. I've decided to skip the way wipers for now,
but will be trying to get the accordion way covers- seen at the back left there- fitted into place. With good covers
and a little care with occasional wipedowns and regular lube, those ways should last a good long time.

Now, to sort out the electricals.
