How to best and safely ship items in for mods or services

We recommend USPS for virtually all shipments. When mailing to Alaska, it's cheaper and just as fast as either UPS or FedEx. If you have a large or bulky item and the latter two carriers offer a better price, please email for physical directions.

properly box up your equipment so it will survive the trip.

When sending a package, please be sure to enclose a note with your name, correct return mailing address, and a contact phone or E-mail address in case there are any questions or problems.
If possible, please also note what service or mod is intended for the item, to help avoid confusion. Please be specific, such as shape, style, finish and other preferences.
If you are having a custom item made or fitted, please enclose a picture, drawing or design with the relevant dimensions, etc. If the drawing or photo already exists on the 'net, please also provide the URL.

You may prepay with a check or USPS money order, for the total amount plus return shipping. Checks and MO's should be made out to 'Doc's Machine'.
Please note: A personal check may cause a delay of up to ten working days to clear, before the item is shipped.
Alternately, we of course accept PayPal, and by request, Google Checkout.
